Business Celebration - 1 year at Group Accountability with ‘Sally Triner Holistic Massage Practitioner’
Sally Triner is a holistic massage practitioner who eases tired aching muscles, relieves stress or simply offers a pampering treat for some valuable 'time out’. She offers a mixture of any of her treatments tailored to the clients needs, which can include Tsuboki Japanese Acupressure Facial Massage, Indian Head Massage or Pregnancy/Lymph Drainage massage.
When Sally joined my Accountability Group a year ago, she was mainly working from the peaceful treatment room in her house and was feeling a little disorganised around clients and managing her own time. She was also looking for more clients and to feel like she was running a ‘proper’ business!
A year later, Sally now has a fortnightly practice at a media agency in Castlefield, Manchester, spends 1/2 day at Bramhall Osteopathic Practice and 1/2 day at Amaranth Natural Health Shop in Bramhall, as well as practicing in her own treatment room. She sometimes still struggles with managing her own time but is better at managing her clients, taking payments, cancellation charges and getting re-bookings. Her weeks are now booked up in advance, so she has lots of new regular clients and definitely feels like she is running a ‘proper’ business. In fact she now says: ‘It took 10 years to become an overnight success’
Fantastic news and congratulations Sally!
This is what Sally says about 'Group Accountability’:
“It’s a funny thing working on your own...something you dream of while employed for years in a corporate world...”won’t it be great to make my own decisions... no office politics...”
Well it is great!
But it can also be quite lonely, all consuming and the lines between your personal /family time & work can be blurred.
That’s where Karen steps in with her Group Accountability. I’m sure I’m
Not alone thinking that I know what I should be doing - well many of us have had earlier careers where decision making is second nature but when it comes down to making practical business decisions about your own business.. which is just You.. it feels personal and a bit of a grey area.
Karen cuts through that chatter in my head- and helps me get to the core of what I want to do, why, where and how - & to be honest gives me a monthly kick up the bum to keep me focused - all done in a positive way of course!!!!
But then there’s the added bonus of the support and trust of the other group members - we are all in it together and it is such a boost every month.
Karen’s straight talking common sense and my Group are a big part of my journey this year and I also have a great new bunch of friends who I know have my back as much as I have theirs.
Thank you Karen for making this happen !!!”
